Freight Quote Process

Commercial freezers and display fridges are quoted separately due to their weight and size. After you place your order, we'll email a freight quote within 24 business hours. No shipping payment is taken at checkout — your order is only confirmed once you approve the quote. If the quote doesn't suit you, we'll refund your product payment in full.

Order Processing & Dispatch

Once your freight quote is approved and payment is settled, orders are dispatched within 2 business days from our Dandenong South (VIC) warehouse. Free metro delivery applies on orders over $1,500 to Melbourne Metro (over $2,000 across Regional VIC).

Australia-Wide Transit Times (ex Melbourne)

Transit time begins from the day our freight carrier collects your order at the Dandenong South warehouse, not from the order date. All times are indicative and confirmed on your freight quote.

Failed Delivery

If you're not available to receive the shipment at the agreed time, our carrier will leave a calling card. Re-delivery fees may apply and will be quoted separately.

Your Consumer Rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

2-Year Parts & Labour Warranty — 5 Years on the Compressor

All products sold by Snow Village come with a comprehensive 2-year warranty covering both parts and labour, plus 5 years on the compressor, effective from the invoice date. This warranty applies to defects in manufacturing or material quality.

Warranty Remedies

Change of Mind

If you simply change your mind, you may return an unused item in its original, undamaged packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund of the product price, less return freight and a restocking fee where applicable. Change-of-mind returns do not apply to custom-built or made-to-order units (e.g. modular cold rooms). Please contact us before returning any item.

Exclusions — Paid Repair Only

The following situations are not covered under warranty. Paid repair may be offered at your expense:

• Improper use: damage from misuse, unstable power supply, post-delivery transport damage (after signature of receipt), incorrect cleaning methods, or unsuitable environment (excess humidity, ambient outside the rated range)
• Unauthorised modifications: disassembly, repair, circuit alteration, or accessory installation by anyone outside our authorised service network
• Wear & cosmetic items: door seals, lighting lamps, drawers, shelves, glass panels; visible scratches, dents, paint peeling. Cosmetic damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery — otherwise the product is deemed accepted as satisfactory
• Non-compliant installation: failure to meet minimum ventilation clearance or specified temperature range (e.g. operating units outside their rated ambient)
• Documentation issues: missing invoice, mismatch between product and warranty record, altered or illegible serial number, expired warranty period

How to Claim

Step 1 — Notify Us
Email snowvillage.au@gmail.com with:

• Your order number
• A clear photo of the invoice
• The unit's serial number
• Description of the fault (with photo or video if possible)

Step 2 — Diagnostic Inspection
We will arrange an authorised technician — most metro callouts within 48 hours (up to 7 business days for remote or hard-to-reach areas).

Step 3 — Inspection Report
The technician issues an official service report on-site. If the fault is confirmed as a genuine quality defect, it is recorded against your warranty.

Step 4 — Resolution

• Repair / replacement: arranged directly once the defect is confirmed; parts ship same-day where available from our Dandenong South (VIC) warehouse.
• Returns: approved returns must be sent in their original packaging with all included accessories; we'll provide return freight details.

Step 5 — Refund Timeline
For approved refunds, payment is returned via the original payment method within 15 business days after we receive and verify the returned product.
